We got the most basic room (room a) on the first floor that there ever was. It had a 6 foot high bed with a very hard and old mattress. Bathroom was tiny and not clean. There was hardly any place to take a bath. The room was never cleaned during our stay. No parking available for 4 wheelers. You can get street parking depending on your luck. There is a bar right opposite to this guesthouse and drunkards and hooligans keep pouring out of it. Just that the location is good. We paid 2500 a night for this shabby servants quarters.

Stayed in this homestay for 2 days. Room was on second floor but no lift facility available.room was spacious, neat and clean. Bath was small but neat and clean. Could have provided hooks on the door to hang clothes. Bed was comfortable.the blanket had holes made of cigarette stubbs. . Check in and out was hassle free. We were 3 women and felt safe.clothesline are provided just out side the room which was helpful. 2 litres of bottled water came complimentary otherwise no food offered by them. The street in which the home stay is not given the white town vibe. Has open drainage flowing along the side. Rental two wheelers are 350₹ per day while the rest of the city offers at 300₹ per day. Cafe and general stores are close by. Many cabinets are provided for clothes and other essentials. Parking for four wheelers are absent and drains on either side of the road might be a hassle when parking alongside the road.

My friend and I somehow managed to stay at this place for 1 night in April, 2022. We had booked a Superior Double Room after reading the reviews and looking at the pics posted by other guests. Our entire trip was a nightmare just because of us booking this place for a night. Mr.Krishnan is the most disrespectful person you will ever meet, he has a huge ego issue and does not agree with any problems with the stay. Now let us come to the room. Seems like some 10yr old kid designed this place. The balcony is closed and has windows. The fans do not work well at all. Our only requirement was an A/C and that was only giving out hot air. There is a shower in the bathroom, but no water comes out of it. The beds are about 4 ft high, we are 6 ft guys and still found it a little hard to get up and down from the bed. The only thing we liked was the fridge, and we literally had to take turns sitting in front of it over the night to not die of heat. I really hope I saved some of you from booking this place after reading this review, else, God bless you!

I had around 12 hours before I boarded my bus from Pondicherry. I was pissed because my last stay at Time Travellers Hostel in Auroville was beyond horrible and I was almost sceptical about everything. As soon as I arrived here, a certain calmness washed over. The room, the sheets, the bathroom everything clean and neatly kept. The hosts were absolutely polite. Its right in the centre. Some good cafes and restaurants in 1km distance. You can walk straight to the beach from here, We needed a auto at almost 12 am, when I mentioned this to the host he told me, not to worry it will be there. I was fast asleep when around 11.30 he woke me up and asked if he can send the auto. 12am the auto was at the doorstep. I am writing this just to show you the efficiency and the effort they put to make you comfortable. This was almost the price i paid at that thrashy hostel. Even if you are a solo traveller, shell a little more and stay at this place. I found this super affordable splitting with my friend. If i ever go back, i will not have a second thought as to where to stay.

Pl stay away from this hotel .Just went for a dinner with my family & way were treated was atrocious .The staff doesn’t have an iota of hospitality sense .After promising us food ,they turned after 25 mins to inform that their chef is not working & so they are serving only their residential patrons .The people around were ordering & getting food at ease whereas we were kept waiting & ultimately asked to go .Most silly people you will ever come across
